To facilitate smooth and efficient conduct of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) rollout in Sultan Kudarat Province, LGU-Esperanza convened its Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board on January 26, 2024 at MDRRMO Conference Room, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat.

The convening was presided over by Municipal Administrator Felix L. Ploteña as designated by the Municipal Mayor Hon. Charles Federic R. Ploteña.

SrSS Roselyn G. Fornan discussed the objectives, scope, and coverage, legal bases of the CBMS.

SrSS Fornan informed the body that all the city/municipalities in Sultan Kudarat Province are expected to join this PSA-led CBMS this 2024 and this will be funded through the PSA.

Acting MPDC Franco E. Embon and Municipal Administrator Felix L. Ploteña assured the support of LGU-Esperanza to the 2024 CBMS.

Some of the operational assistance committed by the LGU through the MCCB include provision of CBMS headquarter, support in logistics needed and information dissemination through hanging of streamers and conduct of information drive in the barangays.

Moreover, a resolution expressing full support to the 2024 CBMS implementation in the Municipality of Esperanza was passed by the body.
